James Stone posted a guide in the guide section for a fix for this. I know it's a different exhaust but I'm sure it'd still have the desired effect.

That's what I do with tailgaters. While the break test sounds good in theory and if there was an accident it would be their fault but do you really want your pride and joy rear ended?
Yeah. 6k is way over priced to be honest.
I paid 4k for an 03 plate with just under 40k on the clock about 6 weeks ago and I thought I paid to much for that really
Surely spending £150 or so on a check and being innocent is better than spending thousands on a dog? It's just for piece of mind really.
I'm sure there's a car buying guide on here somewhere for things to look for.
Fatal last words lol. Yeah it could be totally innocent and coincidental but it does play on your mind.
That last Escort I had, had 7 owners and all I had to replace was a battery and tyres in a year.
I've removed the nearside shocker because I'd noticed the rubber was on upside down (not sure what to call it). Dismantled the shocker then reassembled it, when I came to put it back on the car I couldn't get the bottom of the shocker to match the two holes at the back of the hub.
The shocker...
Well I think it was a cup, only got a very brief look at it from behind, had one tailpipe sticking out of it. Was on my way home from work around 12.30pm on the dual carriage-way that runs you on to Liverpool Road, you was going the opposite way.
He's only selling one of the wheels though, meaning the others must be a mess which probably means they've taken a heavy whack, makes you wonder what that might have done to the shockers.
