im not totally sure on this one but does the climate control take the outside air temp from the sensor under the passengers wing mirror (the one that gives you outside air temp on the clock/radio screen) so if it was playing up it would think the outside air temp was higher than it actually is...
ive hard to change engines, gearboxes, clutches, ecu's, wiring looms the lot with my clio and still love them and ill have many more! infact on the look out for a high millage DCi at the moment!
i think there really good looking cars, handle brilliant and are great fun to drive so ill be...
to be honest the only reason i would buy a 182 over a 172 is if i prefered one of the colours! the 182 has more bold, colours that stand out (liquid yellow, racing blue, inferno orange) where the 172 is just monaco blue, flame red, iceberg silver and pearl black, which are all really nice...
Why not save yourself some more and get a 172 for £5,000 ish? a mk2 172 is basically the same car, same interior, same exterior (apart from different wheels and no twin exhausts (different spoiler and no splitter if your compairing to a 182 with the cup spoiler pack) and performance is basically...
as said its the light car plus wide tyres and big power its not a great mixture lol my mum has a big heavy MK2 1.2 16v clio with tiny tyres and its so much better in the snow, can actually nearly drive normally in the snow in it!
172 i need to limp everywhere
if i was to go back to a dynamique (kepping in mind i spent thousands on my old one lol) id....
1. get the exterior sorted, PC Polish, wheel refurb etc if needed so it looked 100% mint.

-25mm or there abouts, same drop as mine!

as for setting up, if your near Central Scotland, John @ ProGrip in bonybridge done my old FK Coilovers on my 1.2 16v and done Ally's H&R's on his old 172 too! very highly recomended and a...

so been thinking greenstuff front pads, new standard rear disks and braided lines with a fluid change. had standard front disks put on it before i picked it up when i baught it so they are fine and...
chances are the surface rust has been your problem, if the car had been lying overnight and you hadnt really used the brakes untill the time you tell us about.
i have a long straight near my house which comes downhill to a roundabout and on my way to work i used to hit 3 figure speeds and then...
Sportines are a bit lower than standard lower (about -25mm)
Prolines arn't any lower (some say slightly lower some say higher!)
I love the sportlines on my mk2 172, i wasnt impressed with the handling as standard coming from a coilovered car, but the eibachs transformed it!
you wont have ANY...
this is probably my favourite out of thousands of my old car, dont know what it is about it, was at the start of a nightshift in the summer when it was still light, its just sitting at the perfect ride height and the picture shows off the lines of the mk2 clio perfectly imo, loved that car!!!
given time and money its deffo possible just a good bit of blood sweat and tears on the way lol i looked into fitting one into my old 1.2!! i just dont have the time to sort out fabricating mounts and making up custom shafts thats before we come to wiring!
^ on a turbo car yes because the turbos running off the exhaust gasses, so improve the flow with a different exhaust and it will give gains! its also sucking in large amounts of air so improving the intake will also give big gains!
a clio isnt relying as much on exhaust and air flow so only...
there were 2 cup packs...
the cup suspension pack and the cup spoiler pack.
the cup spoiler pack came with an enlarged rear spoiler and a little black splitter on the bottom of the front bumper (some dealers didnt fit the splitters or some have been wripped off!)
the cup suspension pack...
