I'M BACK!!! With this beauty (dimma content)

Looks ace that. Nice to see something like that being saved, bet a lot of them ended up on the scrap heap! Must be cool owning something that you loved as a kid. I always wanted the Max Power Project 2000 Escort, would love to buy that!

    £150k for a Vauxhall Cavalier?

That's awesome. Mil spec loom uses better connections, braided wrap etc. Protects it from heat and vibration.

    New Clio Trophy

Would this be new or used? Buying or leasing? These are "ok" but, having driven one, I wasn't that impressed. Not a bad car, don't get me wrong, but there are some other great cars out there right now.

Bolton Midnight Rally at Snetterton, May 15th

I did wander past but you were deep in conversation, then didn't see much of you again. I had a brief chat with one of the guys spannering on your car. I really recognise him from somewhere. I'm sure he knows some people I know from rallies oop north but struggling to place him Well done on the...

Bolton Midnight Rally at Snetterton, May 15th

Yes indeed, they did have a bit of a coming together. Think the Fez was a bit slower out of that corner than the guy in the TR7 was hoping for!

Immaculate 172 Cup at Snetterton, Sun 15th May

Ah ok. Blinkin' Facebook, can do without that. Lovely car though. I even took a picture of the wheel for some reason: Nice to see one in excellent standard condition.

Bolton Midnight Rally at Snetterton, May 15th

Some pictures from yesterday's Bolton Midnight rally, the last round of the MSN Circuit Rally Championship. @EVOgone was there in his Cup car and running very well indeed, knocking about the podium places all day and generally upsetting much bigger and more powerful cars. A mixture of camera...

Immaculate 172 Cup at Snetterton, Sun 15th May

Saw this parked in the paddock at Snet yesterday. Anyone off here? It was lovely!

    Blue 197, Springfield, Chelmsford

Spotted this morning at about 9:15. Saw it from a few cars back, think it was 06 reg, black wheels, Cup spoiler, looked like it had a cage in it.

    Mondial & Racing Blue

Depending on the date I could pop along if some kind of meet happens, but most likely in the Golf I'm afraid. Clio is hiding in the garage currently!

Breaking cover......*AG content from page 45*

Yeah I think now is the time to try and get some enjoyment out of it. Get the essentials done and then have some fun. You can always make more tweaks later. Very easy for a project to get very long-winded as you know already I'm sure, so be good for you to have some fun over the summer!

Ha! I know I know, but it would be interesting, just for the sake of science. I would guess you are right. Getting good runner length to keep the torque up would be difficult. Should be a riot now for sure, good torque for a little four banger. I am looking forward to a ride some time!

They look great, my two favourite 1*2 colours right there. Strangely my Cup is also HT53!

Epic Mark, just epic. Just shows what a proper engine can do. No fuss with ITBs, just proper bits doing the business. I must say though, it would be interesting to see what a set of ITBs did for it, whether they had much impact on output or driveability. When's my ride?!

That JX220 is awesome, they don't make 'em like that anymore. Shame it's not been used though, but I'm sure it's not the only one!

    172 Cup Stage Rally Car

Looks great. A shame about the clutch, a bit of a paint to change after you've completely put it back together again!

    Old Skool cool cars

That looks lovely! I was always more of a MK3 guy myself but I did have two MK2s; an Equipe and a 1600E. Orions get a bit of stick but I've always had a real soft spot for them.
