Sounds like your bonnet catch has rusted . There has been 2 official Renault recalls to replace the bonnet catches . First of all I'd keep soaking it in WD40 , try pulling the cable gently as it's being soaked , it might free it up a little bit . Come Monday I'd phone Renault UK and see if yours...
It might sound strange , but soak them in neat Dettol . Its a tip I got off a modelling website . It dissolves the rubber coating on the grab handles and it just peels off .
My honest opinion on decats is that they do bugger all other than increase the noise level . There was definitely no change power loss or gain on my 182 .
If i set my cruise control to 30mph and go through one of those signs the sign usually shows 28mph, roughly 5% out , that's what my sat nav and also my gps speed camera detector displays . Like wise if is set my cruise control to 80mph the indicated speed on my sat nav and speed camera detector...
Sometimes the light comes on straight away after having a decat fitted , sometimes it might be a few days or even weeks . It won't affect how the car runs . You can buy a cheap OBDII code reader off ebay or a OBDII bluetooth adapter and use torque on an android phone to reset it . It might come...
You need an 8mm spanner for them . But they're the M7 x 1.00 nipples , that's for the HEL ones .
These are the ones I bought , but it looks like they're out of stock at the moment ...
You want the 7mm bleed nipples , like these . They're a little bit longer than the original bleed nipples and fit both front and rear calipers

Or you could just get 2 new exhaust hangers and fill in the gaps with heat resistant sealant , making it alot more solid . This is what i did and its been spot on . There's still some flex so the exhaust can move . If you do it this way , I suggest putting a couple of cable ties through the...
Welcome to Cliosport . Looks like you've got yourself a tidy example . Turinis have been done to death . Personally I prefer the original 182 wheels they suit the car well and for some reason seem to look bigger than other 16 inch wheels . Enjoy it mate :-)
I think we've established there is more than one way to fit the splitter to achieve the desired results  Whichever method is used , it's a good , cheap fix for the many broken Renault splitters that cost a small fortune. And in my opinion it looks just as good as the original
That's what I did too . Line up the middle and fixed in place with some tape to hold it in place , then i drilled some small pilot holes through the spliiter into the bumper about 1.5mm then used self tappers . Cut off the ends flush with a stanley knife .
I bet that can be fixed easily with a smart repair . I had a cigarette burn repaired in my old 172's seat with a guy who specialised in smart repairs . It cost me £30 and was completely invisible when he'd finished .
I couldn't say to be honest about the KTR . All I know from what I've read on here over the years is that the Yozza is probably one of the loudest , too loud for some so they've sold them . In my opinion they're not too bad , they are louder with a decat , but I took my decat off for the MOT and...
They do come up for sale from time to time . You could always message Fred@BTM , he was the supplier of the original Yozza exhausts and also sells the BTM exhausts which supercede the Yozzas .

Yozza exhausts are loud anyway , probably one of the loudest , especially if you decat it . I can't imagine it getting much quieter if at all if you turbo your car . Why not just wait and see how your Scorpion exhaust is after you turbo your car .
Lots on ebay . Be aware , they might say " genuine " , but some of the adverts are cleverly worded . Yes they are " genuine " mist jets , but not always oem parts so can't vouch for the quality . I can't remember who I bought mine off , but they've been spot on , much better than the Renault...
The driving position is a little strange at first . When I got my first 172 I felt like I was sitting so high up . I'm 6'1" , so have the seat as far back as it will go with the seat raised to its highest position , perfect for my reach to the pedals , steering wheel and gear stick , although...
You've got it bolted back on , without the pads in is what you're saying ?There isn't much room to play with . You need to wind the piston right back into the caliper . It will actually go further in than the rubber dust boot . There's a guide here , but it's slightly wrong . There's no need to...
Take the pads out again , then bolt the pad carrier on . Make sure the piston is wound in enough to put the pads back in , clockwise direction . Use a screwdriver or small some square bar . Also make sure the piston is lined up properly so the notch lines up with the with the bit on the back of...
