http://www1.euro.dell.com/content/products/productdetails.aspx/laptop-inspiron-1545?c=uk&l=en&s=dhs&cs=ukdhs1 that one ;) £349 if you go for the basic options on most things (which is still a higher spec than the other dell, just with a slightly smaller screen I'm typing on one right now
  10. S

    better latop of these 2?

the HP tbh. Looking at the Dell spec, they do far better than that for less money if you go down a screen size

    temp needle bouncing alot!

sounds most like thermostat if the temp needle is dropping as you increase speed. if it's random and glitchy then it could be an electrical fault with the sensor

    AST Topmount orientation

I find it best to just use the ast mounts for caster, and use camber adjustment on the bottom of the strut

100% not the right part for a cup. wouldn't be the first time dialogies was wrong though tbh

    running lumpy at idle! Help!!

all clios have a brake pedal switch fault logged. Could be an airleak, but i'd suggest changing the plugs as a visual check will tell you very little unless they're completely wrecked. worth getting diagnostics done by someone who can look at live data and not just fault codes, a faulty lambda...

    Which exhaust wrap for turbo?

the downpipe wont get even nearly as hot. The turbo is the restriction in the exhaust that causes a heat build up, so the hottest place is pre-turbo. wrap should help to some degree with cracking as it can stabilise the rate of change in material temperature and it's fast changes that cause...

    Which exhaust wrap for turbo?

you want something like that http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/UNIVERSAL-GREY-T3%2fT4-TURBO-BLANKET-HEAT-SHIELD-1200-Deg_W0QQitemZ230487628140QQcmdZViewItem?rvr_id=122102201563&rvr_id=122102201563&cguid=92100e3e1270a0e203a68c66fe8574c9 most turbo's running increased boost and on a modded car (remember oem...

had a bump and rear seatbelts have locked

that's because the fron pre-tensioner is on the buckle and not the belt. If you look closer you'll find that it's fired and you need new fron buckles with pre-tensioners too
  22. S

    Throttle body question

it worked well with cams indeed. none of the bolt patterns are the same sadly
  23. S

had a bump and rear seatbelts have locked

the pre-tensioners have fired (part of the airbag/SRS system) so you'll need all new belts. Probably get some from a breaker, or find someone on here stripping their car for track etc
  24. S

    Throttle body question

jenvey body requires the plenum inlet enlarging and new threads drilling and cutting, also makes a masive difference to use the 100mm bellmouth

Should I be concered? Opened the box and found....

i see where you're coming from. I personally can't stand the FK setup at all, but yes the vmaxx's are probably a bit too soft for trackwork

    1.2 16v Cambelt

    very good price indeed :)
  27. S

    1.2 16v Cambelt

it's only 1 tensioner. No idlers. Make sure they at the very least check the water pump for leaks as they're prone to it
