Bit of progress on the RSI today
Took the inlet manifold off. WTF.......
Then on to a bit of trimming brackets and corners of the manifold
And one with the filters on
Didn't get a pic of the bay all put back together and complete as i was losing light. will...
no offence to foxy, but he does tend to s**t out driveshafts and gearboxes. I've had it in my mind that he's not using the right length shafts for a while
more to it than that IIRC, bearings are different width on the 182 too
TBH, the only shafts you'd be able to use on a mk1 would be ph1 172, or 172 cup, and i think cup would be too long
4 different shafts
Only ones i've found to be interchangeable is 182 with cup pack, and 172 cup, and even then they're different as the cup doesn't have a center bearing
bit of a long shot......
there's a pressure switch in the power steering high pressure line just coming out of the PAS pump. Is it there, and is it wired in and working?
some uprated bushes, like the powerflex lower arm bushes for the clio, need the sleeves welding in, not just pressing in. seen a lot not done right that move and wear away at the subframe
odd logic. It's probably the biggest thing keeping the PS3 in the competition. I'd upgrade from my 4+ year old 360 if the new one had blueray, and I'm sure a lot of others would too. As it is, I'll just stick with what i have

she'll be making a BIG claim anyway, she'll be covering an excess so wont want to pay out another £100 to you. Claim off her or do nothing. Make sure she gets prosecuted for DUI though
