the tensioner itself is a consumable. Increasingly common to see them seized or to break when attempting to de-tension. Get a complete aux kit which comes with the lower idler also
what i mean by seized tensioner is that the pivot rusts up and doesn't allow the auto tensioner to do it's job. The pulleys will still turn perfectly normally. Lower idler is known for getting noisy, and some places dont change it even with an new "kit"
there's issues with using a piggyback on an ECU like the clios which uses adaption. The stock ECU basically learns its way back to near standard as you're not changing the targets it has set
