someone's changed those then. They should be 10mm hex as standard
I use a normal 10mm socket on a 3 inch extension. it doesn't have to be deep if you have an extension
a performance engine should be able to make 100bhp per litre without going excessively nuts IMO. obviously the K4M/J isn't sold in performance trim (well it is now in the Twingo RS) but if you bring it up to spec then there's no reason it can't make good power.
200bhp from a 2 litre F4R isn't...
the 1.6 would be a better place to start if you want to do a non sport. There's loads out there for them if you look around a bit and they're tuned a lot across europe.
100bhp per litre is a sensible tuning target IMO
thumbs up to that. Too many people think they're worth a fortune but wont pay the going rate when they want something done that someone else is skilled at. Fair play to you :)
Got a set of fireblade bodies I'm going to put up for sale soon.
You'll still need management though ahmed, which is what scared you off when you asked before
I've had that elsewhere with a couple of companies. Probably due to you not being due any return of premium if you cancel in the last 2-3 months, so they make sure you pay it all before then
I've done a couple VERY fast (not telling ;) ) but i normally go at it at a bit of a plod, take my time and make sure i'm happy with it. average about 4-4.5 hours.
Space isn't a problem, I just remove everything, there's no point struggling and not being able to see.
2 hours is pretty optomistic IMO. i've done a mk2 1.2 16v (near enough the same job) in 4 hours. I do hate clutches on clios though and i'm not very quick with them
i think you're confusing the parts, there's a fairly chunky piece of aluminium that is part of the tensioner. you can get new pulleys to go on this, but a genuine tensioner kit includes everything
top quote seems VERY cheap, half of that is going to the parts. You can just move the box to one side without removing it from the bay so it's possible, but awkward. I wouldn't do it for that price though. 2nd quote seems more feasible
