megane bottom end is a common swap. It's almost the same with a few detail changes like how the oil pump is driven

i wouldn't worry what thermostat you buy really, it's the simplest part in the world (and the most neglected)

they dont make everything themselves. Pretty good on the whole, but i've had water pumps explode on nissans. Belts, thermostats, clutches are all fine

sorry, bit misleading. I do work for more than one clio specialist. I dont really do work direct to individuals (unless I know them)

They've never sold in huge quantitys so most dont know what they're like, but the Piper 182 system is THE best off the shelf system I've ever fitted on a clio (I've fitted most of the different ones) The 172 system doesn't fit quite so perfectly but the 182 one is the nuts
