    cam has nothing to do with it, it's the 2 halfs of the circle being in the right place that matters. if they're misalligned the cam will lock up and you'll get a BIG mess

    ahhh i get you. That's a ride height variable. Our car isn't that low, and I think we removed the helper springs from the TA race car so the lower spring platforms were well clear of wheels/tyres

    holy crap, didn't see the bit about cheaper than skimming until now. just skim the head!!!! NOOOOO absolutely NOT. you cannot use a different rocker cover, they are specific to the head as the cam journals are in the cover and line bored to the head. They are NOT interchangeable

    matching is less of an issue, more important is the breather box on the rocker cover is different, so in turn the mounts for the plenum, and the vac pipe for the carbon canister are different. nothing you can't overcome as long as you have the breather box

    where did 1.5 degrees come from? I've set ours at around 2.5 degrees when i just threw them on and checked where they sat. Sure FMP_ had his around 2 degrees at one point too

    normally have a new line made with the old ends re-swaged on. PAS fittings are nigh on impossible to buy, and new is very expensive from renault

    book time is less than 2 hours IIRC. Belt kit retails at under £90 from renault, and the aux belt is about £7. I'd say £200 would be more like it really
