classic symptoms of the clutch plate springs being worn/soft. The springs are there to damp engagement, if they're loose they wont be doing their job so you get a judder
NO, you're entirely missing the point. There's a disproportionate number of these failures on french cars. If it was just old people in general, you wouldn't notice a trend as they drive a wide variety of vehicles
the ECU is a bit more complex than that. If you use cable throttle, you need the correct loom and ECU to go with it. omex 600 with tailor made loom FTW TBH. make it a piece of piss to fit
100% agree. I factored in a new driveshaft to the price of the car when i bought my latest 205, I knew it would need one before i'd even seen the car or spoken to the seller.......low and behold
just get a new shaft from Renault. They've come down a lot in price recently so they're not that expensive for genuine parts anymore.
And yes, ALL french driveshafts are s**t, most unrelable part of every french car IMO. Done more on french cars over the years than anything else
not really needed this early on. Measured 85% duty (on 2 load points that were almost un used) at 210bhp on the rollers at Omex which are quite pesimistic
Never liked Mobil 1. I'd be quite happy to run Valvoline, Comma motorsport (sold as halfords also) or anything with a decent rating on the label.

that's the top engine cover/mount bracket. I've seen a couple strip threads, but if you fit a longer bolt there's normally enough there to hold it quite strong enough
