i felt the same when i went to peru last month, new camera, everybody knows i like to take photos and i felt a lot of pressure to come back with the perfect shots so just spent the whole time taking photos in the hope that i would take enough to get some decent ones.
In the end it worked out ok...
i think the file is fucked basically as i have started another conversion and the file its created has me and admin as the owners, so thats what this other file should have but it seems to have corrupt security details, just no idea how to bloody sort this out, i've exhausted my knowledge!
i've tried a reboot so the app isn't running anymore, it normally says the file is in use, unfortunately i just don't seem to have any permission on the file, not even as admin, the app has created the file with its permissions only it seems.
Was using mkvtovob to convert a video and the output file was going to my FAT32 usb hdd, didn't realise but it got to 4gb and then just stopped at 95% as it couldn't go above to finish.
I had to end the app and then delete the 4gb output file on the usb drive.
But in my temp directory I have...
here were my first efforts, was quite a way from the suject too so was taken at the full 55mm too!
1/5 sec
1/3 sec
1/2 sec
these are all jpg out of the camera, no PP and not touched by PS.
I was really happy, need to get some close ups now like some waterfalls, loving the shots pete.
rubbish picture and poor quality as its hosted on facebook, but this was taken the night i got my 17-55 with my 350d.
It was handheld out of my window which was at an angle and had a really bad reflections in the whole fram including the reflection off the tv, it still managed to focus in...
like has been said, posting photos is useless really, its more down to the person behind the camera, the glass and the PS skills than the body really, plus anything looks good at these sizes, when you get them full size out of the camera, thats where the difference is noticeable.
You need to...
the 450d can be got for £392 new, with the £50 cashback from canon so i wouldn't pay that for a second hand one

its pretty damn good in low light isn't it, indoor pics without flash ftw!
its amazing how well the IS works too, if you look through the viewfinder with it off and focused at full 55 zoom on something quite far away its moving all over the place, but then when you switch it on the viewfinder...
bloody hell, thats low, i've had over 3000 on my 50d and i've only had it a month!
incidently, is there a way to check exactly how many its done from the camera itself?
again, vote for removing the copyright, can't understand why amateurs copyright anyway, not sure why you would care if someone used your photo, its more of a compliment than anything else and as mentioned above, with the amount of pics freely available on the web, theres no shortage of photos to...
i noticed samsung now do an LED screen now, and LG had a 3D set in harrods, pretty weird!
As for LCD not being as good as Plasma, thats rubbish now, its the same old thing though that people will tell you to buy what they have bought, they obviously bought it because they thought it was best so...

its not that expensive, presume you know the idea behind it?
XP sessions running on a vmware server, the thing that costs the money if you want it is the BigIP from F5 to do the brokering but you can use the vmware broker.
Lots of people are talking about VDI but not many people are...
we use server 2008 totally in our domain, its a great product and a lot easier to work with and quicker than 2003.
If you want log on speed then use TS, 2008 TS is great, very fast and you can even make it look like vista. Logging on takes a couple of seconds, I use TS from home with TS...
lol, indeed, i was only thinking the other day that when i wanted to see what was on at the cinema, my only choice was to get the local newspaper and look at the advert showing just the film name and times, then they would feature a couple of films a week.
That alone has changed sooooo much...
a TB (terabyte) is a thousand GB's and a petabyte is a thousand TB's. Then its an exabyte!
So in essence, bloody large!
something i was told today, the best supercomputer from 2001, from IBM, can handle so many floating point calculations per second (think it was in the billions or something)...
i'm guessing by remote you mean you are logging into a terminal server? As remote desktop to a normal server is limited to about 2 connections i think.
Sounds like you just need beefier servers, maybe separate the mail and file data to different servers, or you could try SBS server. A server...
makes me laugh when you get non techies say at work and you are telling them not to store their family pics on the really expensive EVA FC disk SAN storage and they turn around and say, why not just add a 1TB drive, they only cost £100 from pc world...........
