Alice, I have not said it is my knowledge that I am getting the canon not distorting anywhere near as much as the sigma from, its professional tests from places that know a lot more than people on this car forum do i'd imagine, so thats all I can go by when no-one else here owns a canon 10-22...

i understand what you are saying but you both have the same lens so its bound to happen the same, the reviews i had read on the canon were that it doesn't suffer the same amounbt of distortion at 10mm. I guess only time will tell, i'll be using it in peru next week so i'll see what i come back...

i'm going for the shoot s**t loads to get a decent few, have 14gb of cards now so can shoot around 2000 in jpg, might do a few raw, going from jpg to raw+jpg takes a 4gb card down from 590 to 130 though so a big difference, will just do raw on the important ones i think. I am normally all right...
