Is the V6 a practical proposition when it comes to weekends away, shopping etc? How much luggage / shopping can you really squeeze in, assuming you also have a passenger?
If you think the indicators are tough - try the sidelights! One of mine has blown - Im going to get the dealer to replace it when the next service is due!
Good luck with it mate - at least were forecast a couple of dry days over the weekend. I did the same a few years ago with an alfa. It was all a bit of an arse but once Id got everything clean and replaced the bits that fell apart it was a lot better than it had been before the flood!
mine are bowing outwards and catching the tyre on full lock. Front arches, the rearmost bit by the sill. Looks like theyve deformed for some reason.
LMAO yeah they probably did!
Castrol RS is fully synth (0W-40?), not really due an oil change (31000 miles) but have mega-trackday at Spa next month so thought Id better sort out oil, brakes etc.
My arch liners need some additional fixings to keep them in place. I was thinking of popping a couple of self-tapping screws through them to hold them to the bodywork. Whats behind the liners? Is it steel or plastic?
OK, my cars in a local garage (not Renault dealer), for the following jobs:
Fit 2 front tyres (I supplied the tyres)
Supply & fit rear pads
Oil & filter change (Castrol RS)
Supply & fit rear wheel bearing
Whats it going to cost then?
Yup, depends on the track I guess. I like to play about with the car if the track is suitable, and I dont mind taking a few risks. I would never do anything like that at the Nurburgring! With smooth cornering theyd last a lot longer, but I like to explore the limits if its safe to do so.
