Do a search for R Sport, theres loads of information. A panel filter just replaces the paper filter in your standard air box. Just go for something a bit more free flowing like a K&N. Much cheaper than an induction kit and will give better results (makes the engine rev up a bit more freely).

Yeah, theres a difference. Im fairly sure its faster, but its noisier too so it could be a trick! The engine revs up much more freely with the decat on. The Viper hasnt made that much difference to my mind. Need the AP22 back of Craggy to try it out. And yes, I definitely have an induction fetish.

Exhaust places always claim to be able to make a system as noisy or as quiet as you want. Is this true? I really dont like "look at me" loud exhausts, but would like something with a nicer note to it. Is it possible to make a backbox only produce loud noise at high revs? Decat pipe goes on...

Our 36k service is coming up in 1000 miles or so at 31k due to the previous owner being annoyingly fastidious and getting his services done early. I dont want to pay £500!!!!!!
