just a quick one, not specific to the clio's but to cars in general. when replacing ignition coils and/or leads, should the battery be disconnected? thanks in advance.

good shout due to you being in stoke. DrRollo do you know if it;s advisable to drive very far without being set up proerply? Ie uneven wear on anything, or even driving straight?

i just love this car. i know i've said it before but the orange suits it so well! nice figure on the rollers too :)

i put a bit of electrical tape over the top to hold them in place, mine worked for a month then decided to give up. i've tried replacing them but didn't work so i've just left the lights on. will get round it by removing the dash bulbs eventually.

btw, grey plug is seat belt tensioner and the resistor plugs into the two holes nearest the end that is opposite the open area on the block (will be obvious when looking at it) the brown plus is for the side airbags, only two holes for it go into on that plug. also have a quick read through...

i don't think they have, i can't think of any wheels i'd replace them with for day to day use. they just suit the clio!

go for the kumho's, they're pretty decent tyres.

any motor factor will do them such as gsf. but i think at the moment renault themselves are about the same as ourselves, bearing in mind the rear discs come with the bearings. they're normally stock items too. pm gray, he's up your way and may be able to do them or fred @ btm is in birmingham...

not really worth it unless you work on cars, plus i wouldn't touch the ones on ebay really. just pay the £30 diag charge it's worth it.

when you say vice, do you mean like vise grips? if so yeh there is enough room to do that. yeah there is room, but i dont really want to be knocking the head of the bolt :s
