You went past me, I was also in an iceburg 172.
IMO not worth it, they're just a cheaper imitation of OE brakes. If you're looking to stick to standard, fit Brembo Discs, and something like Textar/Pagid for pads, ie. something from the TMD Friction group.

yeah i just need to spend a bit of time tidying it up. i think there's 3 tar patches to get rid of which should save a few more kilo's, but im keeping the standard door cards and carpet for now as it's still my daily driver. not really in a position to get another car just yet so need to be...

if you've got the side airbags, have a fiddle with the wires under the seat - don't disconnect them, just disturb them a bit. v.common problem.

hmm most common thing is the wires under the seat but im not sure if that applies to your model. i dont think you have but have you got side airbags in your seats?
if not, maybe worth taking it back the garage who did, and get them to put it on diagnostics.
