But you're talking about the Megane ones? Which are bigger and heavier and I presume more cushioned inline with the audience of the car, being a bit more grown-up.
You ever used Clio ones for long enough to be able to give a comparison?
Christ, you're patient, 6 months with a 1.2 instead of your 200, I'd be havings words, that's awful, cars probably lost a few hundred quid in depreciation in that time and you've not even used it, you're effectively losing money for no gain.
I'm gonna revive this thread rather than starting a new one - it would appear there are many experienced IT professionals on hand.
I've recently started working in IaaS, my career is in its absolute infancy and I have no technical certs nor degree. I'm already starting to see problems long...
Don't think you can emulate on the 360, but you can buy a USB remote for your PC/Laptop and play it on that with it connected to your TV - or you maybe be able to use your 360 remote, I know Wii remotes work via bluetooth. I used a PS1 emulator on my GalaxyTab to play Crash Bandicoot and Spyro.
I think most of my rattles are from the door cards and dash - tempted to go down the tried and tested blue-tac dash technique.
What I sort of had in mind in my head is that it might be possible to buy better quality speakers that put out the same level of volume with much less effort, hence...
If it's the actual playing of the games you love and not retro chic, then just get an emulator, it's so much easier and infinitely cheaper.
Plus N64 emulation is so un-intensive, you can run emulators on basic modern smartphones and tablets.
At the moment though that's not possible, when I play music loud, you always get the rattle after the bass, on a slight delay, so if it's a dance song and the bass is on the kick then you'll always notice because the rattles hit between the kick - it's really really annoying, so anything I can...
I'll admit to knowing next to nothing about car audio installation and what's what, so I'll have to get down to some reading.
If I'm to keep using this car long-term (as I hope) then I really need to sort the audio and niggly rattles out.
Stupid or not stupid isn't the issue, why pay 2200+600(+), when you could spend say 2500 on an example that has receipts for the same work carried out - peace of mind can still be obtained while considering value for money.
Sums: Car 2200, Belts for Dephaser 600, Tax 260, and then anything else...
Ok, so I'll have to get in touch with Henk from the off to find out what I need to write.
One question I have - in the guides on fastchip site it says about charging the battery while carrying out ECU write, does everyone actually do this? I have no idea how long the battery will last with the...
Sorry for the late response, only just seen your post.
The Synology could certainly replace the tower - I love the one I've just got, it's brilliant. It's quiet, efficient, really really easy to use and the web interface is really simple.
As for streaming recorded Freeview, if you record...
So, if one wants to install the 98Ron map now, what do they do exactly? Can anyone who has recently gone through this process knock up a quick guide or take Martin's and amend it?
Thanks.
Currently I have the standard headunit, along with standard wiring and speakers. I have to have the bass on -3 when music is even moderately loud because otherwise the rattling gets on my tits.
Is this rattling due to the speakers themselves, or will this rattling always occur just due to the...
That breakers is literally on my doorstep, if they don't reach too high a price I'll probably get 'em.
You can get them in leather too - cloth isn't the best, but at 1/10th of the cost of Clio Trendlines, and many suggest they're more comfortable than the standard Clio ones.
Bought this car back in March 2013, but didn't make a thread for it because since owning it I've been insured with Admiral (being 20 at the time) and didn't do anything to the car mod wise because it wasn't worth the rise in premium and fees. This year I'm going with Greenlight, so now have the...
