I'm still undecided about removing this valve as my car does seem to go like a rocket and run well with it on and I'm a bit of a believer in the 'if it's not broken don't fix it' phrase.
I may just uplug the air feed at the airbox end to see if there is any noticeable difference in performance.
lol at the carrot commment
Have to diasagree though.....going from my 172 with xenons to my Gfs 1.2 without is quite a shock! I find the lights on my 172 great for nightime driving.
As for the halfords bulb route..shite...worse than normal hedlights
Sounds familiar...Pulsar weak spot always was the gearbox/transmission.
I can say from my experience that the Clo is reliable....I've had my 172 for nearly 2 years and it's been a reliable car.
I second that and I've been using CAD for five years
I always draw at 1:1 in model space then have quite a few different text styles for different heights in mm in Layout/sheet
ie for 2.5mm @ 1:1000 in model the text size is either 2500 if your drawing in mm or 2.5 if your drawing in m...
I think that sums up my sentiments as well....most of the scrotes out there wouldn't know f-all about the origin of the stripes.
I personally think the only cars they should be on is Shelby Mustangs and Ford GT40s
They just suit the car 100%
If I get any new wheels for my 172 it will be a set of Turinis as they look factory fitted...like they are supposed to be on the car unlike the crome/bling shite that some people ruin their cars with.
Pretty much the same for me
As far as the 172 goes I'm just going to look after it with proper servicing but I'll just upgrade stuff like brakes etc when the OE ones wear out.
