    sports cat

It is boomy at certain rpm Is it new as I found the longer it's been in the car the less boomy it has become.

    Is this a acoustic valve?

I'm still undecided about removing this valve as my car does seem to go like a rocket and run well with it on and I'm a bit of a believer in the 'if it's not broken don't fix it' phrase. I may just uplug the air feed at the airbox end to see if there is any noticeable difference in performance.

    Cold air feed complete. pic.

Looks good....how you going to get to the screw for the towing eye of you need to use it though?

    Opinions! Xenons on my cup?

lol at the carrot commment Have to diasagree though.....going from my 172 with xenons to my Gfs 1.2 without is quite a shock! I find the lights on my 172 great for nightime driving. As for the halfords bulb route..shite...worse than normal hedlights

    time for a change maybe

Sounds familiar...Pulsar weak spot always was the gearbox/transmission. I can say from my experience that the Clo is reliable....I've had my 172 for nearly 2 years and it's been a reliable car.

    AutoCAD HELP?!

I second that and I've been using CAD for five years I always draw at 1:1 in model space then have quite a few different text styles for different heights in mm in Layout/sheet ie for 2.5mm @ 1:1000 in model the text size is either 2500 if your drawing in mm or 2.5 if your drawing in m...

    The joy/curse of racing stripes...

I think that sums up my sentiments as well....most of the scrotes out there wouldn't know f-all about the origin of the stripes. I personally think the only cars they should be on is Shelby Mustangs and Ford GT40s

  25. Neil G

    Is this 16v really 170bhp?

Not the best example....a bit tatty if you ask me. What's going on with those triangluar reflectors at the back:S
  26. Neil G

Slight Image Change for my 172!

They just suit the car 100% If I get any new wheels for my 172 it will be a set of Turinis as they look factory fitted...like they are supposed to be on the car unlike the crome/bling shite that some people ruin their cars with.

    172 turbo trouble

Sounds like it could be the solenoid....they can get blocke with oil which will affect the boost. Good luck getting it sorted out:D
  28. Neil G

    Inspiration please!

That's a great looking car in the petrol blue colour. I'd keep it myself:D
  29. Neil G

    Which mod next?

That's a nice mod....okay, not performance orientated but makes quite a difference. Can get them from K-tec for around the £100 mark
  30. Neil G

Does everyone budget for mods' each month?

Pretty much the same for me As far as the 172 goes I'm just going to look after it with proper servicing but I'll just upgrade stuff like brakes etc when the OE ones wear out.
