Doing those kinda speeds in a 30 or 40 zone is bang out of order, as tempting as it is on a quiet bit of road u just can not anticipate what others (eg kids and other drivers) are gonna do, ive done it in the past and Im not proud of myself, but it only takes one scare to slow u down.. but...

I had a similar thing, a truck pulled out when I was half way passed him, I anchored on and managed to avoid him but then a stone came off the back of the truck and gave me a nasty deep stone chip on my bonnet :cry:

UPDATE!!!! The squeak seems to be going, not half as bad today!! :D

I changed what I didnt like; lowering springs, the exhaust, stereo, alloys and some other minor cosmetic things and now I absolutely love it!! The most annoying thing now is the fly and bug splatter on my nice clean paint work! Oh and I dont like the fact that the miles keep on clocking...

I bought two sets of Kevlar brake pads off K Tec and had them fitted on thursday, they squeek loudly!!!! it sounds as if Im down to the disks! Is this normal for new Kevlars? :confused:

I took mine to a local garage and let them spend hours adjusting etc.. only charged me £30 :)

Ive got a silver 172 and the 172 silver IS the best shade of silver ever made on a car!!! But if I was gonna go for a 182 then it would be black or racing blue with white gordini stripes just coz Id want a change!! The mark1 Yellow was spot on, but the new yellow looks like an AA van ;)

Mark1 Yellow

That looks good, the bonnets on new Mitsi Evos are carbon and match the colour of the car but you can still see that its carbon like in the pic above., I saw one in yellow and it looked fantastic. Its just when the colour doesnt match that it looks tacky IMHO

He should have 3 years, mine came from Holland via Ireland (I have no idea why!) the first time I took it to the dealer they said it had one year, but Renault UK gave me 3, the dealer doesnt argue anymore!
