Nice one....hope all goes well with the exhaust
I have a K-tec stealth on mine and it does make quite a nice difference over the OE system plus you know it's not going to fall off!
I'm in the same boat...car will be five years old next October but is no where near 72k currently showing 17k on the clock.
Still going to bite on the bullet and get it done though as the belt may well have become perished/weaker over time.
I wouldn't say the welds are s**t....just not as good as some...besides, if your paying £300 for a system that isn't going to be seen does it really matter that much?
I definately won't buy another Magnex....the one I had weighed a ton!
Agree
It sounds like the same old story of internals being the limiting factor...rebuild any turbocharged engine with the best forged pistons and rods money can buy and you'll be able to wind the boost right up.
I still don't see any reason why the 225 engine would have any problems at...
Yeah..in the last issue a couple of them put the Trophy in their 'fantasy garage' which for people that have driven all sorts of exotica is saying something.
At the end of the day you get what you pay for
I went for a Magnex because it seemed good value for money but it turned out to be c**p. I then went for a K-tec Stealth which I did have to fiddle with a fair bit to fit properly but is pretty good.
Good luck with the Supra....good drag cars and plenty of potential for massive amounts of power.
Be prepared to be visiting the pumps a hell of a lot more though
Yep...just look to the left of the passenger side headlight (when facing the car) and you'll see a plate coming down with the oval shape for the feed in it.
Second the above....sports cat is your best bet if you don't want to get fined on a roadside emissions test and don't want the hassle of changing pipes at mot time.
Not sure about how effective that lower front brace is but the adjustable ARB looks the business.
Coming from a Subaru background I'm pretty familiar with Whiteline stuff and it's good quality stuff.
I think Demon Tweeks are the UK supplier for those interested.
The dealers want sillly money for replacements..I was quoted around 300-400 notes which is more than an aftermarket system.
I ended up going for the K-tec Stealth which I'm pretty happy with.
Lots to choose from out there:D
