No they are much, much quicker...I reckon about 5 seconds quicker to 60 than the Mk2;)

The K-tec carbon splitter is worth buying...really changes the look of the front end:D

The price does seem good so I'd do a bit more investigation into the part and the seller. Failing that just go for a Carbon one....now they do look the mutts nuts

I took the bumper off to fit mine....taped the whole thing on securely in the right place then drilled through and bolted on with small alen head bolts. Looks the buisness:D

My 172 is pretty hesitant when started....kinda holds back like you describe. Usually dissapears within 5/10 minutes though so it could well be a common quirk of these RS Clios

55k is a lot of miles for a 2yr old car...explains some of the minor faults

19k sounds like good miles on that 03....good price as well I'd go for it:D

Yozzasport do a good package which includes Brembo discs, greenstuff pads and braided hoses. Looks good for fast road use:D

You just need a flat blade screwdriver for the hoses and IIRC a 10mm socket to undo the securing bolts for the airbox.

My old Renault 19 16v which shares the same 1.8 engine as the Clio used to be pretty economical....used to get around 30 mpg on log runs

What a**holes...surely you must know you've done that, looks pretty deep. I had the same thing done on a previous car of mine....massive gash down the side completely down to the metal, probably done by a flatbed lorry. F**king cost me 250/300 notes to fix as well:( Hope you get it sorted
