Clio 172/182 cup is much better than a Fiesta ST in the handling & engine department plus those stripes just look daft.....the onl cars that should have those are Shelby Mustangs and Cobras.
I'm probably going to make the drive to Pompy from Bath for my 24k/4yr service....his work seems to be so highly reccomended and I'm just unsure about main dealers respect/treatment of customers cars.
I'm sure Renault spend some time and money developing the intake system so it works well.....I don't want to spend £200 on some foam, polished alloy and some glorified tumble-drier hose just to find out it wrecks the cars driveability.
Good to hear there are still some honest people out there in this age of the chav, kunt etc.
I wasn't so lucky a while back......massive gouge/dent down my rear wing in my Renault 19 done by a flatbed lorry....motherf**ker did a runner and it cost me about £300 to put right:mad:
Have to agree with you.
I think until your tuning your car to a very high level they are more for cosmetic/sound improvements.....as with most engine mods as well, you only get the most from them if you have the car properly mapped anyway.
Thanks for the reply mate
Surprised not more replies.....I think everyone is obviously too busy
discussing blowing money on throttle bodies (laughter).
Ah well....off to Renualt in my lunchbreak tomorrow then:D
Nice and simple one
I am going to be putting a janspeed sports cat on my 172 soon
What gaskets do I need to replace when doing this and at what sort of cost?
I'm a great believer in subtle modifications so will be adding a Sports cat to my K-tec stealth and green panel filter.....and then stopping there....the car sounds good, doesn't attract much attention, looks OE and is cheap to run:D
If I want more power I'll just buy a different car.
That is good miles for the year.
My 172 is doing well on that fron too.....2002yr model with 14000 on the clock. Still got to get it serviced yearly though and it needs the coolant and brake fluid done in October as it has to be done every 4yrs regardless of milage.
