I've got the 8.5mm magnecore leads, needed a new set and they were all tweeks had in stock.
Heard VERY good things about them, alot from a bloke who is inot tuning his scoobies etc up, IIRC his mate has a 900bhp (or around that) scoob, which he mapped for him, so i think he knows his stuff
Shims in place with camshaft removed
With shims and carriers removed
Shims and carriers seprerate
Ypu don't need a valve spring compressor to remove the shims, and you shoudl be able to get the shims out with the cam in.
For the record halfords, machine mart etc will sell a valve...
So you don't have alloys or a spolier, on the tripe that renault are turning out nowadays and calling cars??
TBH you need to sort the attitude, this is alot of what is wrong with the world today, t***s thinking they are better then other people.....
:boring:
Strange saying that i was actually thinking then i had my moment, it was like, "i'm going too fast, gotta come off the brakes or i'm gonna spin"......then the back end went and i stuck one turn of oppersite lock on, and again "ok, thats not enough, gonna ahve to go for full oppersite lock"...
Presume you won't be attaending any track days then, thats alot more then the sound limti for most UK tracks.
And why did you pay £50+ for a k-tecx de-cat when you could ahve had one off me for £35 delivered?

1.8 8v head being stripped, all that remains now are the valves, for them i need to get around to buying a valve spring compressor, oh and i need to remove the studs.
Will get doing the same wiht the block once i get it
Right, if it gets really stiff at one point the discs isn't on straight.
When you replace the bering you have to remove the discs.
Easy to get some crap between the disc and hub not making ti sit straight.
If its just comming from the pedal have you thoguth it might just be the pedal...
I did mine without a torque wrench, just did it fooking tight, my torque wrench is about 30Nm short, so i did it to max setting and then did it 1/4 turn more with breaker bar, this is the last time ihad the hub off to change the driveshaft
To be fair i think he looked as fast as he was becasue alot of people were taking it very steady, the track was VERY slippery, i almost spun it on the first corner, think 4 or 5 other people spun it up to when when he crashed, in the first 5 minutes
Mark @ Ritchspeed uses normal engine mounts filled wiht polyurethene sealant.
Btw why do you need uprated engine mounts unless you have done some massive tuning?
Strange if you have just had new discs and pads and its still doing it.
Shot driveshafts usually make themselfves apparent inteh form or vibrations in the stearing.
Check the run out on the discs, could be if they weren't sitting straight of there is something under the one side and they are...
