how the hell did you get 32mpg from it?
I'm weighing my saloon in once I've filled the boot with brake disks. shame really, they're brilliant cars but cost more to fix than they're worth
LOL, I threw away a pile of those the other day from peoples failed attempts to make their own mounts. Just buy new standard or Prima uprated rear, and genuine (ONLY) center mounts
I'm surpised tbh, would think they'd be concentrating on releasing a new iphone that will excede expectation rather than leave a lot of people wondering what changed. Maybe they've just felt they had to be part of a very quickly growing sector, but that doesn't sound very apple like. Maybe post...
did it look the same? genuine obviously aren't made by renault, so if you've got an OE injector from another source then all good, if it's different, then get 4 the same, or 4 genuine, not mix and match.
The Idle is raised on the 438 map, so Andy will have lowered it back to standard on the...
there were however a butload of SRIs and CDXs made with the 2.6, and they were pretty damn good to drive (had a lot of them as pool cars when I was at Millbrook and did a lot of miles in them, mostly back and forth to MIRA
I changed a single one for a mate on his 1.4 megane as he literally does 1 mile to work and back every day. It's back for the other side as soon as I can fit him in LOL, only lasted about 6 weeks.
I took some rather mismatched springs off a 172 ph1 the other week, 1 broken rear, and 1 replaced...
you had 172 hubs fitted IIRC??? 172 brakes don't fit non sports/mk1's
However, williams/valver calipers and disks bolt straight on to other mk1's and there's lots of pads available for those. I'd be going for Pagid disks and Mintex M1155 pads in williams calipers
washer "fix" is crap, I've removed them to stop knocking on a few ocassions. i'd get new top mounts, or dremel the hole out a bit where it's been touching (it will be marked where it's rubbed)
if you read the first post he's talking about having the belts changes again just because the dephaser wasn't changed, and not for any other reason. This would be a massive waste of time and money
Depends entirely on ride height. I set a cup to -2deg for track the other day, and it's not much below standard height. that was about maximum. if it was lowered I'd think -3deg would be easily achieved, although pretty pointless if you ever intend to drive on the road
well Saab's used loads of different turbos. I made a Mitsubishi TE05-12B from a Saab 9000 fit a 200sx once.
You're going to have to search ebay and do lots of reading. New is the way to go really
DL don't like mods. If it's a policy that's not on a modified scheme it always costs more to add mods later, as it'll be discounted in a different way for being standard.
need more info. A T25 from a 200sx for example will runout of puff before 250bhp and more boost will just increase the intake temperatures. A GT28R (2856) is a good turbo, i'd choose one of these for about 250bhp at 1bar give or take. Seem them do 280bhp on a clio at roughly 1.2bar. A GT28RS...
