could be loom faults (very common) Lambda short will definitely cause issues, but finding if it's the sensor or a rubbed through wire will need investigating
First job, look at the loom where it plugs into the ECU. There's a silly metal box that rattles loose and rubs through the wires
universal kind of gives it away :p
You can get kits that bolt onto the 1.2 box and adapt it for a cone
Personally I'd not bother, or just fit a panel filter
definitely a custom job, that's an off the shelf Y piece after the rear box. Looks nicely done though. Charlie will sort you out a nice bit of quietening down
