the aux kit is just under £75, and it's a bumper off job to change it. 1.5 hours is fair, which from me makes labout £67.50. For that cost, I doubt a non specialist will do it cheaper, I had a customer yesterday tell me he'd been charged £200 labour and £60 for just a belt
dont take this too personally, but defending Gaz coilovers undermines your opinion to an incredible level. Far beyond their build quality (shocking!!) they're pretty crude even when they're fully functioning
Loving my sensation XE. So quick, bargain contract and having had a desire before and liked the HTC way of doing stuff it was a pretty obvious move for me.
Lumia 800 still looks very interesting
I've seen their heads on their trade stand at shows. High quality work, no question, but I'm unconvinced with a couple of the things they've done on the F4R head. Also, thats a big price to pay
yeah, pretty sure the oil seal plug was torqued to 100Nm rather than just the center bolt. 5 out of 6 of the long bolts through the pulley sheared clean off
increasingly common unfortunately. I personally put it down to valve bounce when hitting the limiter, and worn valve guides. The vast majority of the engines I've seen do it have been owned by those who "enjoy" the limiter a bit too much
looks like the cat to center section clamp needs replacing. Possible that the flanges are damaged in some way too, I've seen a number of cats develop cracks where the clamp is over tightened
