nothing, i have used only the engine loom too, but you ideally need the internal loom to work out which wires operate what. i.e decoder ring balh blah!
UCH is the big white thing with f**k loads of realys!
You can run the uch, but it means a whole lot more wiring, which is why i cut mine out, and got the ecu decoded.
look at this thread here, it gives alot of info!

NOt much time gone into it tbh, its been quite easy so far, i was suprised how well it went in! Ive been doing this at the side as well as doing other jobs.
Right, before everyone starts slating for running valver managment, i wanted to do it a) to see if it would run, B) to try and escape the dreaded immobiliser issue.
Anyway:
My nemesis, the F7P engine:
The bottom end started knocking like a wood pecker on speed on sunday night, so, couldnt...
He said above it was running.
So it wont be fuel cut off switch. People have basic knowledge on here, but you seem to have over looked the information given before bitching.
Well mine fits with the subby etc on, im running a pas rack but no pas pump. the engine is lighter, so feels like it would with manual steering.
Mine is on its wheels now, just waiting for P murray to get the ecu back!
Right, i had the cat too, not sure if you do?
I cut it off just before the y-pied to the 2 cats and weleded on a flange from another part of the 172 exhaust:
then cut the flange off the end of the cat and welded it to another bit of pipe:
Only problem with that was that it didnt drop...
I found with my combo that the clutch cable was slightly too short, so ive modified the outer cable to give me more inner cable. havent tried it yet, gotto fit the new clutch pedal.
I had one on my valver, the loss of torque is phenomenal! it was stupid loud too, but the flames made up for it lol, the legal requirement is for it to exit within 6in of the bodywork.
Wasnt my finger, was my thigh! not too heavy, i'd estimate it at 130ish kg as I managed to lift it out of a freelander and onto the floor/my leg by hand lol!
