Not always, most common size on a renault is 19mm, turinis will fit with 19mm bolts at the biggest, if you say yours are not standard they will most likely be 17mm.
Well long time since updating this, ive sourced a new loom and ecu :) thanks joshydee!! just awaiting for him to pull it out for me, so it will be running 172 managment afterall!!

At carlton we had a ladys car come in for its yearly service...
it had only done 2411 miles. Ph3 1.4 rt auto. on a P plate!
It was lovely to work on, no siezed bolts, no grease or oil sprayed everywhere, even under the car the underseal was still white!!

bet it fooking did, never seen a diaphragm plate shatter like that, though mine broke all 3 mounts and was rattling round and actually machined the gearbox!
remove the starter heatshield, then the bracketory for it, then undo the 3 bolts on the starter, undo the wiring, the out between the manifold and the head out the passenger side. same to get it back in, it can be a b*****d, sometimes it'll fly back in! i was running a 172 starter, and the...
manifold pressure wont have anything to do with theinduction kit.
usually the wiring between the map sensor(manifold air pressur will be the fault) and the throttle chaffs on the inlet.
depending on how quickly the box was rebuilt, say a day removal and fitting, but it shouldnt be more than a few days.
Frank is very good with his boxes, so it shouldnt be too long.
Its a well known garage in the motorsport trade, I sub out alot of work recon wise to him, i just do the removal and installation.
You can pay him by card, if you remove it yourself obviously it'll be alot cheaper, but i can do the removal and install if required, but i dont have a card...
