Literally just put a 60mm Ramair Filter on where the airbox bolts up.
Still need to run hose for colder air but runs exactly the same as it did before with more turbo whistle and "suck"

This website shows every bulb you will need for your car inlcuding the types of LED bulbs you need.
Just don't buy cheap ones as after a while they fail and flash instead of staying constant
Belts on Thursday as I'm off work, need to leak off test mine and fit my genuine fuel filter as this Mann one may be causing some s**t lol
Need to get my arse into gear and get CLIP and on top of all that build my 172 up. So much for having it all done for August ffs! ??
Think I might tbh
Just bought some new discs for the front, need something to make me want to keep it. I keep realising that it's done near a quarter of a million miles so is practically worthless in most peoples eyes anyway?
Been really contemplating the idea of getting rid of the dCi...
I've had my head-set on getting something else for the last 3 years but I'm that sentimentally attached to it that my fingerprints will be forever ingrained in the steering wheel. Been looking into Mondeo MK3 ST's as I want...
That’s because people my ages and younger now are too engrossed in what HP a car makes and how fast it goes in a straight line.
These are the sort of people that spend £600 on a pair of trainers, get an A45 AMG on finance over 600 years and still live with their mam and dad. Whereas I’d rather...
My engine is currently out of my 172 and while it’s out I’m cracking on with a hell of a lot of stuff!
But one thing I want to do is get rid of the naff sound deadening and heat shielding on the bulkhead
I’ve seen the stainless stuff that looks like thin chequer plate but can’t find any...
In some years time there won’t be many Clio’s left, people are starting to break full cars now just for gearboxes and small things instead of having stuff refurbed. I’ve broken and seen broken around 40 Monaco’s so there’s got to be way less than 400 of them now, doesn’t stop me fully...
It’s the particulates not a visible test iirc
And I think it only heavily applies to newer diesels, they still can’t be as strict with the older diesels due to a lack of DPF, there are always going to be particles present on an old coal burner[emoji23]
But saying that mine ain’t the cleanest...
Empty the contents of the fuel filter into a black spray paint cap
If there’s any metal flek in there the pump will have gone. If there isn’t then do as above and leak off test injectors as it will more than likely be one of those causing the issue
Delphi stuff ain’t good unless you’re careful
Been toying with the idea of getting rid of my dCi ad getting something more grown up. Can’t bring myself to get rid though[emoji30]
Land Rover’s will run on 5w-30 so why would you bother with 2 stroke.
2 stroke on common rail = yes makes a slight difference
2 stroke on IDI = not much point
Yeah diesel isn’t volatile, you can sit and throw matches and lighters at a diesel spill all day without it doing anything. Compress it and heat it to above 200 degrees and then it’s a different story
But even if you compress engine oil and heat it to a certain degree it will become volatile...
Nah one of my injectors is on its way out but I’ve been neglecting it because I’ve got a 172 still without an engine in it and about £1000 worth of parts still to be bolted to it[emoji23][emoji23]
Need to do a leak off but I’ve got the cambelt to get sorted next week[emoji849]
