I have a spare old Redex bottle (250ml) that I fill and I bang this in every full tank. The biggest difference I noticed was the reduce in smoke and the noise was a little less
Although my dCi sounds like someone lobbing round a bucket of spanners anyway[emoji849][emoji23]
Stuff like this I really like!
I always have a hankering for a MK1 Laguna BTCC but even finding a diesel MK1 Laguna is difficult nowadays. Can’t wait to see what livery you slap on it!![emoji6]
Also interested, I know of a friend with the cheapest version of CLIP and he said his disconnects every 10 mins.
I’ve had a look at this one - https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F263825972552
Breaker went in the bin. Price of scrap is at £99 a tonne!! Last time I scrapped one it was only £73. Nice bonus
Currently away for a 3 night break but still couldn’t help getting a nice few pics of the dCi. Even if it’s been battered by over 247,000 miles and done 60 miles of country lane...
The piston will have a gum around it and will be sticking
Wind it out, clean it up with some really fine emery paper and pop it back in and bleed the brakes. Shitty old fluid can cause it to be a bit w**k too
Took my engine to @bloke yesterday for belts etc doing, found a good sign it’s been looked after before as there was Megane bottom pulley on already. Engine already ran sweet but was good to see someone gave a s**t before me
Cleaned all of the grease from the block as my drivers CV had...
Yeah @bloke is right @Louis
Just go hard and go home and use a Spherical bearing, you’ve already made it nice to look at so make it decent to use... then I can give you some money and you can do mine at the same time [emoji6] x
So now I’m technically back down to 2 Clio’s again as this happened
I found a f**k ton of bodges while pulling it apart and also found a tiny bit of rust in the back arches too.
The engine will live on in my other Monaco of which I will be getting the belts done on this week. Then it’s...
Remove the bumper and should be behind the NS arch liner, easier to take the bumper off than it is to take the arch liner out as they just seem to f**king break lmao
