If it's the Recaro trendline low subframe then yeah a sub easily fits still . That pic shows the standard seat slider rails and the bar that goes across to adjust the slide so loads of space.

Agree, they are such a useful tool to have. I've had mine about 20 years and apart from a couple of bushes it's been fine and taken a lot of abuse. I use mine all the time for cutting , sanding and grinding.
