i was possitive it could be removed from the top once the inlet manifold was removed but i was wrong lol and it 100% has to come from the bottom. subframe removal is easy enough

if its a k-tec relocated induction kit no chance, mine was well down on power and torque with one fitted. i cant remember my exact figure but i beleive it was around 86bhp on my old one? as for keeping up with a 1.6 8v vtr, no chance on a straight.

love mine too, theres always something niggling away needing sorted but doesnt bother me that much. love getting windows down open her up and hear that rasp from the decat!

had a play with a 172 cup lastnight in stirling looked to be coilovered, had aftermarket wheels and exhaust, sounded awesome. someone told me it was on bodies didnt seem fast enough though but did look to have 3 full grown guys in it! seemed about same pace as mine except when i changed it...

to be honest though, my 172 when it had a patern part centre section made 173bhp! but was slightly down on torque. although the pipework was dodgey size wise at bends etc it was better made in the sense it didnt fall off!!
