You could run a electromagnetic clutch or similar, but thats just increasing size and complexity.
And you wouldnt HAVE to run a manifold that would divert the exhaust gas, have an electronically controlled wastegate .
well, you would switch it over when your exhaust gas speed becomes high enough to drive the turbine faster than the gearing from the crank drive. Dependant on the engine matching, on a good setup that should be about 2500-3000rpm to run a higher flow compressor.
oh, and bang on with the...
could be a million things.
But the heatshield that surrounds the lower front pipe the bolts come off. I thought that on cold starts my bearings were starting to go off and pooing my pants, till i got under the car the the slights knocking noise was the shield.....saved me loads hahaha.
what would i suggest...lol........this is why i dont like forced induction cars, too much messing about hahaha.
Erm, a fecking fancy centrifugal clutch on the transfer shaft.
Hence the clutch to stop drive to the pully drive, both turbo and charger would use the same compressor wheel so taht would be driven all the time, you simply change the drive source.
Powerdrains are offset, those silly top fuel 6000+bhp dragsters, the blowers they use need rediculous amounts...
i know the benefits of the Porche ceramic clutch since i work for them. BUT, the design doesnt translate into the solution that we would need, the material might, but then again the material isnt that new, the use on a rd car IS new.
the ceramic clutch design doesnt solve any problems. What were trying to acheive is an auto switchover controlled by rpm, clamping pressure is not a main prority.
you could theoretically run a single compressor off a crank drive then swap over to a exhaust gas driven unit once the gas speed exceeds the speed the crank could drive the compressor. But youd need a centrifugal clutch which is REALLY light as you wont be able to spin it very fast otherwise...
Rotary engines ARE otto cycle classed engines. THey use the same 4 stroke principal to pricess fuel & air.
Rotary engines dont have a reciprocating motion and fewr moving parts, less pumping losses, less friction, less complexity and for the same CC they run more power because they have more...
There is no law stating that you can be charged directly for having nitrous in the car. They might be able to charge you with related driving offences though.
how loose, as in floppy and hanging down?
Take the plastic cover off the inside off the door, just behind the wing mirror, it pops off. Either its not bolted or the spring inside the mirror is broken or knocked unattached.
have a looksee about.
never mind mate lol.........if they wanna make plug changing a massive deal lol.
And a puller on a plug! eh?
it either comes up with the socket if its got a rubber sleve in it or a pair of long nose pliers or a magnet will pull them up.......break them, only if your really retarded.
give us the cam grind and ill have a look.
They all will work with a plenham, just really lumpy cams have flow reversion and pulse problems which interfere with the other cylinders.
What corrola GTi?
If its any AE82/86/92 then itll be using the 4a-ge. But to which cylinder head casting is using would be hard for you to check as Toyota changed the valve cover relative to the castings in the later life of the big port which makes it confusing and you need to check the block...
