were not talking hills here are we!? lol
No, the engine at idle still produces enough power to move the car if its in gear. If your clutch is in or a gear is not engaged, i say put your handbrake on for hills lol!

There is a spare head in the workshop here, but i have no idea how i would get it back to HK in my luggage, probably think it was a bomb or something!
I dont have a spare F4R head lying about im afraid, and me sourcing one and doing it on an exhange basis would leave me out of pocket including the money i get for your work.
You could come to bristol, but i dunno what you would do for a week +, bristolgets pretty boring pretty quickly...
bout 400-450 quid and take about a week or 2 including postal time.
i dont rush my work so i tend to take a few days longer than others do, but teh pre season rush is long gone and i dont have any other heads to do at the moment so it might be quicker.

Frosties box, thats what caused the problem in the firstplace, but it was my fault for useing the glossy face and leccy tape.
THe F4R unit is extreemly sensitive to temps and after doing a bit of temp related testing the diff between max and min inlet temps was a wopping 14bhp.
Peak ambient temperature was 95 deg F, peak inlet temp was roughly 140-150 F, lowest we could get the inlet temp was 104 F.
Plus the the...

but us mechanics generally dont have much time during our days, i mean, with all that tea to drink, biscuts to eat, TV to giggle at or radio 1 blasting..................not to mention automotive fluids are cacinogenic, so i like to get as little dirt on me as possible.
