the V6 still uses a common single TB plenham.......so no wories if it feeds 4 or 24 pistons.
The move to FBW is odd yes, but it allows more precise idle and emissons control, it wont let you rag it to death when cold etc etc etc.......
converting to cable would mean a new ECU as they are...
nope.........not for the CUP as it runs FBW.....
unless your a dab hand at fabricating a adaptor the new V6 TB, not hard, but it will need some fettling.
not IF EVERYTHING stays a constant.........
anyway, this can get pedantic, and if were going into wheel weights and the offset of mass (if they are the same weight) from the spindle.......well, we ran heavier wheels in the wet.
ok.....if everything remained constant including width, ride height, CoG (pedantic i know), offset and everything else we care to mention then nothing much will happen.
but you could do the same as said by others by over inflating the tyre.
yes, fueling related.
how much power, depends how much you do to any othe part of the engine, but as a sole mod, would probably bring you to the 90-100bhp mark.
IK, no.....
1.8 lag SPi TB you can keep the original ECU but youll need it remapped.
As for fitting, you can do it yoursef faily simply or get somebody like Nick Hill to do it.
its not http://www.cliodynamique.netwww.cliodynamique.net lol......not saying any cars aint welcome as it aint my decision, but that migh explain all these common 172/cup/williams/16Vs...............lol
you can buy superglue remover.......its not too harsh but ive not tried it on paint, just my hands lol.
trying to remember where to get he bastid stuff........
p.s. kick him HARD!
lol.....its always the way.
A larger intercooler has a larger volume and greater efficiency, but lager volume neas increased fill times and more lag.
tradeoff from high power, small capacity turbo.........
now your saying the elan is ok!!!!! a FWD truck powered thing!!!
get your dad to sell the aston as you really really really need your medication back....lol
defender is an icon, its not goodlooking by any means, unless your doing that beauty is in its uglyness thing, in which case the 360 should appeal to you lol....
ferrari is the only decent thing in there!
its not a back fire.
The clio when at any speed above idle rpm and with no throttle it cuts fuel off entirely, thus when you touch the throttle a tiny bit you can get it to just about inject fuel but not burn it.....pop.
GRs got me in trouble now lol.
Charles, i drive whats available at the moment.
The parts, especially bodyparts are not stocked and subject to the factory and how fast they can hand them over to the couriers. Unfortunately i do not have access to the stock list as i am currently in the UK...
the MK2 is FBW and totally different design to the MK1......
the management deals with the FBW TB in a totally diff way than just a normal cable and potentiometer arrangement, it controls everything from throttle position to idle control.
