iv seen him at combe, and iv seen plenty of vids, taking nothing away from him as its gotta be hard to drive something that fast but surely driving it one handed is a no no?!

^^ this is true, my old willy engined hybrid used to run 14 sec dead, though at one day at pod a chap with a williams asked me what i had done to mine as he couldnt get under 15.5, again its back to driver skill and car condition,
coming out of tesco's just driving past my work (the VW garage) blue, couldnt see a tailpipe but sounded fruity so im guessing stelth exhaust, driven by a young lady
you can,its a bit tough but try to get under the car, or even better jack it up(support on axle stands!!!) and get someone to slowly turn the wheel while you try to look for a rip or tear in the boot. wont be easy though
a remap will alwats make a difference mate, but it will be more for power delivery and driveablilty that power, though with a few breathing mods you should gain a few bhp
as much as i love my ph1, i know il be getting 197 when i can afford it, and tbh iv had a few blats with 197s and i usually have the upper edge, but will that stop me from getting one? NOPE! the 197 is a better all round car and i cant wait till the time comes when i can afford one
well iv had bad experiences with the conti's and a had those yoko's on another car and didnt rate them
i can rate both the G/year F1's (which is what i have now) though tyre wear is high and the BF Goodrich G force profilers i had on my valver, were amazing and gripped like hell in the wet

i have to say though it did crack at where the pipes join the manifold plate, so it had to come off to be welded,but this was because i didnt fix it right to the front of the decat pipe :o after that it was spot on
Re: engine mods + can you lower the "5k" kick so it kicks in lower down the rev range
imo chap no need for bigger injectors or higher fuel pressure, there isnt any real way without magor work to lower the kick, you get the kick as this is when the engine is working at its best for performance...
Well as iv had two valver's, a hybrid and now a 172 i thought id give my 10p's worth on them
Im going to compare my hybrid to my ph1 172, and im not taking any other cars into consideration here, just comaring these two( so no comparing to tyre r's, cups or 182's lol)

my hybrid ran a ss mani, i thought it was very good, though it did move more power up the revs, which as prev mentioned isnt a bad thing as the 7r's are good at low revs anyway
and as mentioned yes it will fit your car
