'had' i stuck it back under the bonnet, only advantage to sticking it in the boot is to add more weight to the car and end up with starting/charging issues. notice how it would loose average mileage/trip distance from time to time.
if you're sticking a passengers foot rest in i normally put them on the top of that, keeps them out of the way and saves the weight of the extra cable :wink:
you can get it cheaper than that. also torque is a load of shite, it misses plenty of codes, absolute joke software. get it checked on something decent.
bba reman... :tongueclosed::tongueclosed::tongueclosed::tongueclosed::tongueclosed::tongueclosed::tongueclosed:
i'd go for wiring, think there is a relay somewhere in the throttle circuit or to do with powering it? don't know where i've got that from though??
chances are it was just with the wiring being moved around a bit. but body should respond with ignition on. if it does it again have a fiddle with the main loom just under the throttle body.
it wasn't your coilpack. it's a power issue, either dodgy connection or loom issue.
go over the connectors and relays in the box under the bonnet and take it from there.
there's your problem...spanner man!! take it to someone who knows what to look for, get it on live data. anyone worth their salt will be able to tell you how the lambda is after a couple of minutes.
i'd check if there is anyone local who can do a proper test on the injectors. only takes five minutes. i know chris has a tester but that would mean having to sent them to him. or can you mooch a set of injectors of someone to try?
i had a high boost clio with pretty much brand new injectors on...
the injectors should be clipped to the rail, you don't need the clips there but it keeps them on the rail when you pull it off.
unplug coilpack and then see how they are on cranking. all this really does is tell you that they can fire and and give an idea on spray pattern. doesn't mean they are...
coating last a lot longer on the h&r :wink:
either people tell porkies about how long they've been on for or the coating doesn't last well. wife's h&r been on for well over 50,000 miles and still in good condition.
