Stage 2 to one person could be an exhaust and filter, whilst to another it could be a mildly worked head, TBs, +bore block etc etc.
So nobody BUT the tunner...

BTW, LD dont use TBs on teh conversion.....so the hike they say is impossible....but its NOT impossible to get 180bhp....see;)

if it was a gasket, i would check the exhaust for vapour, plus for fouling, water for oil and oil for water, but its all the basics. No leaks?

you can get throttle bodies from many manufacturers, they are not specific, only the manifolds are.
the best value is probably the weber alpha gold system which incs everything you need for just about 2k. Otherwise,you can source aprts from others such as SRE, Jenvey, puma, lumenition......etc...

I would do its first thing even IF there was a warrently, but sadly i dont have 2K. You could junk the running and emmision control on teh std engine,and get rid of that stupid FBW thus, eliminating many of the smooth running...

anyway, i doubt you will get into the 4s.....maybe high 5s......
tehre awas a foesta RST with close to 400bhp and slicks and that just managed the sub 5s.....its a fwd thing.....so not to worry, itll be more than rapid!
