yeah, we know that a quality education is the one this you dont have.....
you proabably inherited your poor hardworing fathers money and now live a dull life in which you only entertainment in your lazy life is to annoy others.....your not american are you?
Bullit, you are obviously a tit with too much money, its obviouse you can drive for sh*t, cause you believe you can.
And whos Tiff....ho hum, he used to race for my dads team, (TOMS) so ill go dig up his number and frikkin ask him!
yea are getting really annoying now, many have said the CTR...
std 172 plugs are already thin electrode precious metal plugs with long service lifes, intended so because the inlet manifold is on top of them......saves replacing them often, and use std ones if you are goin to replace...they are TOP TOP TOP quality as std.
i wouldnt expect too much, unless i can check the spindle bearing and look how much space there is for a larger throttle plate.......at most, all we can do it tidy the std unit up a bit.......
hmmm.....
yeah, but the brakes are only lag V6 ones, and when you get used to formula style brakes, even on old formula fords, it takes a stonker of a car to imporess. And a hard pedal is good.....ideally the best pedal will be one that doent move, but you just push harder.
again, a person...
well, you do have 172bhp, and he has only got 120bhp, so....you do have an advantage, but to say youll beat it on a track, using the same driver, they will ultimately be much faster.
130bhp, but its not a very accurate roller, but tis the only one in HK. It inerta based and out door. Used to test trucks so covered in diesel....all sorts.
Plus our summer ambient temps can he as high as 37 deg C....which really doent help the car make power, what i found was the 172 is...
Fenny,
i personally thought the sadev unit fab, snick, smooth......better than other sequentials i have used, apart from my kart, that gearbox was the closest thing to perfection........
brakes are mediocre yes, but they are proddy based.....
dont bother taking off the cat on the mk2 172s...its more bother and worry than its worth, and itll be SUPER loud. the MK2 has twin labda sensors in the cat for comparison readings, and i dont think anybody has come up with a real way of fixing it so far, apart from suggested resistors which...
Jeremy,
We have just been given the Cup in HK for sale at about HK$140,000.
Anyway, our lightweight version comes with aircon and all the stereo kit. Was this ever an option for you guys?
just find it odd........
maciek........
are you getting your head work done in poland, whats the state of the tunning industry like over there.
Anyway, i meant the XE design is GREAT...very very good, and i mean you will need some very good port work, especially around the throat and radii.
If he has a coscast...
LOL....im the last person to ask about body kits...not my thing sorry.
ANyway, twin 40s, or 45s or 48s or 50s...all nick names for the weber DCOE or dellorto DHLA twin choke side draught carburetor. the number is refering to the body diameter. larger = more power capacity....but you cant...
i dont a have a massive problem with them at all.
I do have a problem wit doctored reading where a clio 172 puts out 160bhp at the wheels.
And i never convert wheel power into fly power no matter how fancy thier calculations are, how ggod the coast down estimates are and how accurate their...
top mate.....
I am very very very disapointed with the level of HOW TO.
I would of much rather learnt something interesting apart from fitting an airfilter and chip....
and all teh advice...air filter/exhaust/chip......man, cant we clio people do anything else!!!!
evrybody else is in...
i dont think anybody thinks the CTR is crap, its frikkin ace, and its new than the 172, which means is has moved on......
But, its testimony to teh 172 that it can keep up.
anyway, i think most people were merely pissed off with bullit forbeing a narrowminded ignorant arse.
depends, just the pair of TBs alone, with no sensors, no management, no fuel rail, no injectors, no manifolds, no nothing can be as low as 125 quid.
But,a full kit say the weber alpha gold kit is just about 2k for the lot fitted, then another say 400-500 quid for mapping time.
They really...
Where abouts are you?
the XE will be puming out 250 bhp VERY VERY VERY VERY easily.....so do some decent work to keep up.
your ata disadvantage straight away as you have 30mm inets, whilst he has 33mm.
The head is a great design.......and you need a good F7 head to work on.
you afraid...
this is getting heated and turning into a im faster than you arguement.
And, yes the CTR as said has got more power, has a higher top speed and probably reaches it faster than the clio. Fine if you like motorways and airstrips.....whoppe.
But another fact is that you in your ctr will not get...
