Roy - let me know what the score is this new setup. Apart from the 7950's - it's almost identical to mine. Funny you mention CoD2 as well as that totally battered my old system. The 2nd mission played with the Russians was like a slideshow on my old PC. Works a treat now - in fact I finished...
Ohhhhhh - very, very nice!
If you don't mind Chris - how much was it to have them done? Not sure if they would be OTT having them done on a black gold car, but I just love black wheels. Wanted to get the all-black Momo Evo Racer 2's on my GT before, but they had gone...
 Crap!
Mine's started doing this the last couple of weeks. Gives up and stalls on the first start up - 2nd spin of the ignition works everytime.
Bloody headlamp washer has started leaking too. I think I'm slowly making my way through the "KNOWN 182 PROBLEMS CHECKLIST". ;)

I do Floodie.
Sometimes I play it a lot, then I forget about it for a while. It's currently back-in my current faves due to that X-Fi specific patch coming out for it. The noises are so much richer than before. Having said that, they've made the standard gun sound really weedy now.:S

Went past me at dinner. On Gate Street, then I saw it parked around the corner on Ordnance Street. The car looked a clone of Chris 'n Nic's Cup (complete with after-market zorst) - but without the private plate. ;)
Didn't see a CS sticker on it...

Followed you from the start of Grane Road this morning, all the way to junction 5 of the M65. Flashed you and waved when I first got on Grane Road, but I don't think I got any response!
No CS sticker that I could see of, so you probably just thought "who's this d1ck behind me?" ;)

It seems a lot of effort (and potential risk) for them to go to the extremes that they did. They must have clearly been watching how and where the car was stored on a regular basis.
Absolutely gutted for you. All that time, effort and money pumped into such a classic like that. And then to...
Sounds good Roy.
I went the AM2 route with a 4800+ CPU. Changed the initial +10% frequency CPU option within BIOS the other night, so that it's now an effective 5200+ CPU, with each core reporting a speed of 2,639Mhz.
You'll notice a difference in performance for sure, but you had a...
HAHAHA! I doubt you would believe how packed that car park was there when we first arrived! Jain even said later in the afternoon that she hoped our cars weren't the last ones there! :)

Roy - if the difference between a 7950 and 7900 is a mere £60, then I would go for it. When I was looking at pricing, the margin between the two was signifcantly larger. The question is, I've only seen one game that actively questions if you have a dual-core gfx card - and that was King Kong. I...
To immediately check the NIC on that laptop, have you another PC & laptop nearby? If you have and also have a crossover cable in reach, just set one PC's address to 192.168.170.1 and the other to 192.168.170.2 for example. Leave the subnet mask as default and you don't need a gateway or...
Love the file renames there, Mike!
Tbh, if Vista wasn't so close to launch, I'd say just buy the thing. You can get an OEM version for around £48+VAT now. Ok, it's only the Home edition, but it's fine for most people.

Today's Sweeping Assumptions are......
The driver will be female (I hope to god it is... )
She will be aged between 24-30.
Must have shoulder length, straight blonde hair.
Will have zero clue as to which engine version of TT she bought.
If she could get away with it, her next car would be...
No probs sneeks. It's probably best getting what you can for the money. The AGP card should ramp down from x8 to x4 to x2 and then finally x1 and still work fine. In all honesty, I'd do an eBay such for an AGP card these days. With the majority of mobos being PCI-E, like you've already found...
