they sometimes make certain presumptions, I've had quotes from them that are literally thousands of pounds out, even though I have given them all the correct information! Your much better off calling them!

Coilovers and strip it! Less weight is as good as increasing engine power, but better because its free to do!

Have you consider getting something like a mk1 or mk2 PH1 RSi? Or if you want newer a mk2 ph2 1.6 16v? Talking around the around 110/120bhp with those and 0-60 in a lil under 10seconds! Feels so much quicker than 1.2's, but doesnt have the 2.0 insurance pprice tag!

my 1.6 has an engine cover... tho its an 8v not 16v

I got a 172 spoiler already painted same as my car for £40! Big step over the strip spoilers. If you fancy something bigger, then go cup or v6/trophy!
