wouldnt of though so, the front suspension on the V6 is fairly different...are the calipers specific to the V6 or are they off the safrane or laguna or something?
better get out a tape measure and go down to you local dealer!
leave EBC well alone, there are far better pad out there.
Pagid are good and have a very high heat reange (600 deg i think) but take warming up.
Ferodo DS2000 are great pads, and are good till about 450 deg (more than enough).
Mintex 1144 pads are the same as ferodos basically but slightly...
UM ok.....hmmmm
well have to wait and see, why couldnt it be done here in the UK then?
there are only so many variables to the amount of fuel you push in, cause ther is only so much air the engine can work.
and ignition timing will not gibve much on modern motors. sure it was on a standrd engine?
see if you can get some maxtorque iscs as i have been using these for a while now and they dont warp, well, 1 did, but that was becasue it wasnt mounted flat..my fault.
CCC is my bible, true, there is too much interest in silly cars from people from max power, but that is where the money is...
powerflow are always a mess as they have to keep loads of bends, link pipes, mandrel machines etc all at hand...
i got a pwerflow dud to fix my exhaust, and he did a top job, but the top gear peeps are meant o be the ebst, and i know the guy up there (steve) and service has always been great...
BTW...evo jurnos are poo.
also, tarox are way over priced and not worth it! a set of pads is enough...
and i went through my bridgestones in 2000 miles!!! (1 trackday inc.)
Wickid, ive raced since i was 8, and i dont have one in my 172, but in the clio cup cars i have raced, it does make it extremly tight at the rear. allot like a hard reared mini.
might be the lack of weight in the rear, but it gets very unstable over bumps when braking.
overall, not a huge...
In about 2 weeks time, i will have a selection of ported/flowed and port matched inlet & exhaust manifolds for sale.
1st step to a great engine to which i can port & flow test the head at a later stage if interested.
If interested email me at Ching@iamwasted.com
Cheers

their stated power gains are never like what you really get. They usually use them on modded heads with better flow.
you will see an inprovement, but probably not that much.
do you have the specs?
i.e lift, duration etc.....you mainly want to go for higher lift rather than longer duration...
yeah, you mentined that your running the K&N cone filter only...i will try to mod the 1.4 16V airbox to either take the cone filter or a replacement panel filter and suck in cold air only, with slver heat wrap (since its real hot in singapore).
Maybe somethinglike these:

i know these are a bit like Super Ts, but there much classier...

MK1 or MK2 XR2!!!!!!
i got a MK1 (best loking and handling) with nothinig done to the engine bar a competition 4-2-1 manifold and exhaust system.
oh, and custom spax adj damper all round, lowered 2 1/2".
its really surprises everyone, at track days, i can get round porsches and the lot...
ok, if you guys remind me around july (end of) to have a look at teh 14.4 16V airbox then ill have a go at modyfying one and possibly mailing it to you, or sending it with ym dad cause hes goin to singapore this summer to see my bro.
I love the turbines!!!!
i think the phase 2s look like megane wheels!!!!
PH1 all the way!!!
and anthracite is deffo the way to go, i as thinking about this while ago, but i need to get them refurbed first..and no money...
you raelly dont need to worry about roling radius, its such a small differnce that it wont matter until your doin 200mph, and then itll only make a few mph diff...and at that speed who cares if the speedos out.
and you wont travel any faster with bigger wheels before anybody starts that...
yeah, i got the stuff from john today. cheers.
i think that is still a bit expensive for a nova no matter what engine it got in it. But if you think its worth it, go for it. But the novas shell is notoriously weak and the front turrets can split from the shell, is it strenthened?
yeah, not t hard to achieve witha turbo.
1.6 8V right?
just port the head extensively, as far as you dare!! especially the exhaust ports since its a turbo.
Get a turbo profile cam if it hasnt got one already.
what size is the turbo?
i can port the head if you want, for about...
