Was going to say get the valver & put 172 widetrack on it :cool: The only real problems are just wear & tear items due to the age of the cars, no big deal in the grand scheme of things. In your situation I'd definately flog the 17poo, £3k pocket money and a mint valver would be win win all round

I'd say you've got no problem fitting it in, I've managed to get a door from a civic coupe into the back of my valver very easily

My valver flew through it's MOT this year, no advisories :D I knew it would pass with flying colours but was still nervous about it :S Not bad for a 14 year old renault ;) Got to feel a bit sorry for my mate, the MOT on his vee is up this month, nothing cheap to fix on that bloody thing, but...

don't waste your money trying to make the 1.8 go faster, you're never going to get an extra 40bhp out of cams & a remap, you wont be far off 170bhp with the same done to a 2 litre lump I'm selling a 2.0l F7R, drop me a PM if you're interested ;)
