my track car doesn't have PAS (its knackering after 10laps) but my race car is having PAS! plus the 1.2 16V/DCI rack isn't very strong, i ruined a NEW (not recon) NEW rack in 1 day at bedford - it simply wasn't designed to be on a track car with sticky tyres and heroic driving LOL think...

no warranty on a 2nd unit and they crack (sorry but they do!) if you want quiet then buy a janspeed!

that's not a bad price if it included a new aux kit

play in just the tie rods? just replace them? sod changing the entire rack! 172 cup rack and rods are cup specific BTW

110mph through the piff paff ;) stock brakes are actually bloody good, we did a full day at Donnington on them (ok we had a few "moments") but 95% of the time its down to the organic bit behind the wheel that causes the issues!

Re: FINALLY - Top mount moddified part from Renault! the spacer and little nut are replaced by a new 1 piece part, i think it maybe due to Nissan now moving in (renalt part numbers as we know them are slowly migrating into Nissan numbers)

i'll order the Rolhypnol now then (for myself)

the car is sat at my house waiting! (its my mates 182)

^yeah and whilst i have a hole in my arse no exhaust system on a 182 is going to make 192bhp - even god himself couldn't make that happen

im actually debating offering a "try before you buy" system (with a deposit obviously!) - watch this space!

Dave i still want to see how you change the aux belt tensioner without removing the bumper and slam pannel - serious question!

we all know about my washer fix, well Renault have finally (6years late) released a moddified part! Ive been sent some to try and am fitting them tomorrow! so the washers are now no longer needed! you are now able to buy these bits from the dealer £5.06 each inc VAT!

when the only way to 100% prove that would be to batch test 10 "identical" systems on 10 cars on the same dyno (both engine and chassis) under controlled enviromental conditions and then take an average, 1 car before/after isn't exactly 100% accurate

i know mate i saw! nasty way of doing it IMO, but i'm a snob
