i would have thought that it would be the case, crap rubber can really effect the cars braking ability.

there is a water pipe running from the front to the back of the car under the plastic trim, cant remember which side it is, but its defo there! (chances are it is for the rear wash/wipe). I reckon thats your best bet.

ive had mine looked at for this before, I was told it was a sensor on the flywheel which they changed, this seemed to solve the problem for a while, but now it has come back and is just as bad.

thats bullsh*t, simply because you cant get the MTV in the new facelift clio, its the old phase 2 clio.

172 has leather seats, cup is slightly lower, lighter, fabric seats, cup splitter, thinner glass, wider track etc

i agree, i dont think it would be that easy, but I think Orign have been very devious in not pointing out that the system only displays the limit in alert mode. I think it is quite a big selling point for the unit, which actually isnt there. [Edited by Gaz2130 on 14 July 2004 at 10:48am]

Finally got my unit wired up last night, went for a quick sprint with it on, does the unit only tell you the speed limit when in the zone of a camera? The unit only seems to be displaying my travelling speed, not the limit on each road? is that right? or is it possible to turn this feature on...

yes i would have thought it could be, I have an aftermarket Navigation system in my 172, i would have thought the best thing to do would be remove the std HU, and see how it is wired up, I.E take a look at the two std wiring blocks behind the HU and see how/if they are integrated into the navi...
