Can anyone help with the following? I basically want to sell my Private Plate and purchase another one. But what is the best way of doing this? As I understand there is an £80 transfer fee? Do I sell my current plate and then pay £80 to have the new plate (when purchased) on to the car? or is...

i had this, but mine was smelling of rotten eggs :sick: , i took it to Renault Woking and they pulled the ORIGINAL filter out and replaced it, then asked if the car had been serviced, to which i responded, "Yes, twice at Renault Liverpool" fekkers!!

i have done both, Mk1 is easier as you dont have to fiddle with the trim plates and its comes off easier than the MK2. Quite easy, just loads of screws all over the place (quite obvious), need to remove A pillars and all of the plastic surround around the steering wheel, then pull the dash...

i was wondering this as I have just bought a new set of 17s and having them fitted at the end of this week, but i figure if i keep them clean then there is no reason for any damage, so long as i dont get stupid in the snow (done that before).

what lowering springs mate? Apex? Eibach Pro? Eibach Sport? Mine are Eibach Pros

My 52 MK2 172 passed over 30K last night, and its a month and a half off being two years old? How are similar aged cars doing? Worried mine is getting rather high?

two valve caps nicked from my first car (fiesta) so far. . . clio #1 nothing clio #2 nothing (touches wood). Im just lucky.

i was on the phone to a guy today selling a set of 172 dials, i asked him about this and he basically said "uh, yeah this car has about the same mileage as your car, can i have you credit card number then?" uh, no thanks. Ding goes the phone down. !!??!!

on another note, Demontweeks do not sell them, I was wondering whether this was because of quality issues?

i like them, know they are popular, but IMO they look great on the 172. R-Tec will do them with a full set of Eagle F1 GS-D3s fitted, balanced and locking wheel nuts for £800.

I am just about to order some 17" Dare V2s for my Mk2 172, what are peoples experiences of these wheels? Quality? Weight?

i sourced a 172 dialset for my 172 import for £100, just spoke to the guy and asked him how they would work, does the mileage come from the ECU or the clocks? he said that if i were to change the dial sets over i would get the mileage from the donor car?!? Hence i didnt order them. Does anyone...
