i flushed mine a couple of weeks ago and posted exactly the same,
the bottom hose is a complete b*stard to get off i had to jack it up a bit and put a g clamp on the green clip and slide it up the hose and pulled it off, i then lowered it to get all of the old sh*t out, it was bloody filthy...

oh right i got the number plate cat171t
for my 18th, i used to have it on my fiesta (mint mk2 ghia)
but it got a bit too well known in romford (old bill all the time)
my clio hasnt got it on it just a dumb old m plate
i want the plate cat 1 but its 100 grand!!

the other one snapped about 2 inches from the end in the car , and my dad has put the old one in the boot, so i cant pull it through,
i dont know whether or not there is a hole as ive been to work while hes been doing it,
and its dark when i get in
im going to look my self, but...
as i posted before my clutch cable snapped,
i got a new one from reno, my dad has put it in place, but i need to know:
how do fit it to the pedal end ?
ive taken off the plastic panel, where the bonnet release is, but all we can see is foam, so we havent got a clue,

My dad bought one from reno and has virtually finished it, (must buy him some beer) so its all looking good
It did come as a bit of ashock tho when it snapped.

As i have posted that my clutch cable has just snapped, i appreciate that not every one is interested which is im posting this,
I live in Romford (essex) and i am in need of a decent garage who can do my clutch cable,
going by past experiences working on it is a joke,
how hard is to do...
My clutch cable snapped about 3 mile from home, and at 11pm i went to put it in 4th it went click and then the peddle hit the floor, so i had to pull over.
my car is now home thanks to green flag, but i now need to know:
How easy is it replace yourself

I jacked the car up in the end as i couldnt find the drain plug on the block either.
as there was no room to get to the hose i had to put a 3 inch g clamp on the green clamp and tighten the g clamp, once it started to weep i slid the green clamp up the hose and lowered the car,

i thought there was a nut, but wasnt sure,
i got a bit worried when i thought i couldnt find it, and as i was at work i couldnt look,
i now know that there isnt one so its all sweet, ive re assembled the gaitor and my dad will be fitting it on the car tomorrow,
ive got the right grade of oil...
