If its leaking out the cam end seal then its just a case of prising that one out, cleaning the face up if necessary and knocking a new one in. Although i've never had one leak yet and it looks properly fitted.
More likely to be a split bottle if its draining out that fast. Its probably coming out the skuttle drain on the passenger side which dumps it behind the arch liner.
If its the bigger one then its 82 00 071 215 and £27.28, the smaller one is 77 00 847 815 and £28.34. Prices are approx as the pricing file i've got here is a few months old.
Thought only the later 182 JC5 box had the bolted diff retainer? As people have had circlip problems with 172s i'm sure Ali did off the top of my head.
The first years no claims makes a big difference, making a claim in that first year isn't going to help you much. You might find it a little cheaper but not much.
I agree with T5PHY, and I think you'll find that the coolant temp comes up faster than the oil temp does. I run the car for at least 15mins before giving it any great ammount of throttle/load.
