Extreme pack means cup packs as said, a lot of cars didn't get the splitters fitted as they weren't fitted from the factory.

The ph2 1.6s are CB1D and as the dynamique 1.4 and 1.6s got "sports" suspension I think the arbs increased in size. The 1.6 arb is 100% 24mm or at least the bushes are.

Colour wise yes your correct, seperation is doable apparently but it doesn't look so easy to me.

Bushes are different part numbers between the 1.6 and 172. The bush inner diamiter for the 1.6 is 24mm and the 172 is 25mm, unsure on the actual arb diamiter though as the bush will squash some.

Think the 172 one is a thicker bar and the moutings on the wishbone are different. They're clamped rather than a bolted droplink.

Good god how many tight f**kers are there on this forum. It controls the airbags ffs, get it sorted properly. The lights will not go off if you remove the computer. Doesn't matter as the computer logs the detonation and locks itself unti its reset or a new computer is fitted.

So it won't pull away normally in ANY gear at all? Could be box related, doubt its just the clutch as it'd tend to slip or otherwise, I can't think of anything the clutch can do to make it behave like that. Will it roll ok without any restriction? Selecting gears good?

Passable at best. I've seen/worked on worse though.

Inners are the same I think, outers vary between the rs and normal ones though 100%.

Red one in the bottom of the fuel gauge would be nice but I don't know how it'd diffuse through? Just to light the R up red really.

Halfrauds do ferodo ones for not much ££ that'd be my choice after oem if not "upgrading".

Its only used on Ph1s and cups because they don't get it from the abs. Some very early ph2s had a speedo sensor hence it being there as they were using the looms they had i imagine.

Later 172 and 182s use the 736 lump don't they? Switching to the 738 later I thought? My 53 172 had a 736 lump in it, has's 55 182 has a 738 in it though.

Mole grips on the damper shaft and hope they hold? Failing that stilsons, not doing to do the dampers much good though.
